How does it work?
A skills session is the hands-on portion and skills test that completes the online learning course provided by the American Heart Association. It is a stress free practice session and can usually be scheduled with short notice. There is a fee paid directly to the American Heart Association for the module. It is a great alternative to the traditional classroom setting, especially if you are short on time.
How do I sign up?
1. Call Precious Hearts to schedule a time that works for you and verify the course that is right for your needs
2. Go to the American Heart Association Course Website and start the eLearning module. If you are a Healthcare Provider, you will choose the course named “Heartcode BLS.” If you are not a healthcare provider, you will choose “Heartsaver CPR/AED Online” or if you also need First Aid, “Heartsaver First Aid CPR/AED Online.” For advanced courses, you will choose “Heartcode ACLS” for ACLS or “Heartcode PALS” for PALS.
3. Purchase a Skills Session below and meet with the Precious Hearts Instructor and get your certification card on the same day*!

$85/person. Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED Skills Session or Heartsaver CPR/AED Skills session. This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training. First Aid instruction includes bandaging, bleeding, wounds, choking, shock, seizure, fainting, broken bones, poison, and temperature-related conditions, to name a few. Includes CPR/Choking training for Infants, Children, and Adults. AED training is also included in this course. Online course completion through the American Heart Association is required.
$85/person. Basic Life Support Providers Skills Session. This certification course is the CPR course for any Healthcare personnel. Includes CPR/Choking training for Infants, Children, and Adults with one and two rescuers, including use of bag/mask ventilation. AED training is also included in this course. Online course completion through the American Heart Association is required.
$155/person. Advanced Cardiac Life Support Skills Session. This certification course is the skills session that pairs with Heartcode ACLS from the American Heart Association. The course is designed for advanced healthcare providers. Online course completion through the American Heart Association is required.
$155/person. Pediatric Advanced Life Support Skills Session. This certification course is the skills session that pairs with Heartcode PALS from the American Heart Association. The course is designed for advanced healthcare providers. Online course completion through the American Heart Association is required.
