Turak Newman, a father of two, collapsed in his home about three weeks ago and went into cardiac arrest. His quick-thinking 10-year old daughter dialed 911 and called for help. Amazingly, the dispatcher was able to talk the young girl through CPR, and with the help of her 6-year old brother, they were all able to save Newman. A firefighter crew arrived at the house just minutes after and found the girl performing life-saving CPR. They took over and used an AED to stabilize Newman. He was transported to the hospital where it is said that he made a full recovery and was fitted with an internal defibrillator.
