How does it work?
A skills session is the hands-on portion and skills test that completes the online learning course provided by the American Heart Association. It is a stress free practice session and can usually be scheduled with short notice. There is a fee paid directly to the American Heart Association for the module. It is a great alternative to the traditional classroom setting, especially if you are short on time.
How do I sign up?
1. Call Precious Hearts to schedule a time that works for you and verify the course that is right for your needs
2. Go to the American Heart Association Course Website and start the eLearning module. If you are a Healthcare Provider, you will choose the course named “BLS for Healthcare Providers Online Part 1.” If you are not a healthcare provider, you will choose “Heartsaver CPR/AED Online Part 1” or if you also need First Aid, “Heartsaver First Aid CPR/AED Online Part 1. For advanced courses, you will choose “Heartcode ACLS Part 1” for ACLS or “Heartcode PALS Part 1” for PALS.
3. Purchase a Skills Session below and meet with the Precious Hearts Instructor and get your certification card on the same day*!
